Rick Frederick, Resource Development Manager
As Resource Development Manager, Rick Frederick leads the development and implementation of the strategies to advance the goals and objectives of the Mobile Bay NEP, taking a community based approach to advance local environmental challenges.
Rick grew up in Mobile, Al. and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Auburn University. Rick has spent over 20 years as a Business Development Professional with diversified experience in sales, marketing, and management for the healthcare, education, hospitality, and utility industries.
With stops in New Orleans, Colorado, and Nashville, Tn., Rick moved to Baldwin County in 2002. He and his dog Belle are glad to be back in South Alabama, where he lives a block from the bay in Fairhope's "Fruit and Nut" section. He loves spending time on the water boating, kayaking and hanging out at the beach. An avid runner, Rick participates in numerous 10K and 5K races, as well as the occasional triathlon and half-marathon. Travel and spending time with friends are his other pastimes.
