A cleaner, clearer, healthier Bay—a decade in the making.
A cleaner, clearer, healthier Bay—a decade in the making—the Mobile Bay NEP is proud to have such committed municipal and business partners working to achieve these goals. Thanks to Goodwyn Mills Cawood, City of Daphne, Mayor Robin LeJeune, adjacent property owners, and everyone else who has made this project such a success.
For more than a decade, GMC Environmental has worked alongside the Mobile Bay National Estuary Program and several other partners to restore the streams and creeks of Baldwin County, AL’s D’Olive Watershed. Members of our Mobile team, along with representatives from Volkert, recently conducted a watershed tour with City of Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson, City of Daphne, Alabama Mayor Robin LeJeune and other senior leaders, to demonstrate best practices and new technologies for the completed, ongoing and planned stream stabilization efforts. A special thanks to the Mobile Bay NEP and their partners who work hard to ensure the water of our Bay and Estuary are clean, clear and healthy, along with being committed to responding to challenges faced by our coastal environment, like those posed by development.
