Mobile County Shoreline Management Plan

The Mobile Bay National Estuary Program is developing a Shoreline Management Plan for Mobile County to document shoreline conditions, determine causes of erosion and habitat loss, and develop strategies for managing coastal erosion with nature-based solutions.

As a property owner or concerned community member along the Mobile County shoreline, your input is invaluable! Your knowledge of the shoreline will be critical in understanding current conditions and helping to establish long-term management practices.

We invite you to a Community Meeting to discuss the future of the shoreline and how you can play a part in this important initiative.
