The Mobile Bay National Estuary Program will be hosting an open house to discuss watershed planning efforts on Dauphin Island and to solicit public input on issues, challenges, and opportunities for inclusion in the Dauphin Island Watershed Management Plan. Practitioners from other organizations will also be present to discuss their specific projects on Dauphin Island and solicit public input. There will be a brief presentation to open the event and then will transition to an open and informal session where the public will have the opportunity to ask questions directly with the scientists and engineers working on these projects and share their thoughts and ideas for Dauphin Island’s future.
