The Mobile Bay National Estuary Program has awarded Anchor QEA the contract for completing the Eastern Delta watershed management plan. As the planning phases progress, more information will be added.

The MBNEP needs your input as we develop a comprehensive watershed management plan for the Eastern Delta Watershed. This watershed includes Whitehouse Creek, Upper Bay Minette Creek, and Lower Bay Minette Creek watersheds in Baldwin County, Alabama. Combined, these areas encompass approximately 49,191 acres and discharge directly into Bay Minette Creek and ultimately Blakeley River and Mobile Bay.

Anyone who lives, works, or plays in the Eastern Delta Watershed is encouraged to attend a public stakeholder meeting on November 14, 2023, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Spanish Fort City Hall, 7361 Spanish Fort Boulevard, Spanish Fort, AL 36527.
