Bekah serves as the Restoration Project Coordinator, where she coordinates and assists with restoration project activities, invasive species management, volunteer water quality monitoring, and Project Implementation Committee (PIC) coordination. She is also the resident GIS technician and staff photographer.
Bekah grew up in northern Alabama and has always been passionate about nature and science. She has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Montevallo. She previously pursued biomedical research but realized her true passion was in protecting and restoring the environment and returned to school for a Master of Science from the University of South Alabama. In her free time, she can be spotted with her camera in her kayak appreciating the nature of the Gulf Coast.
